This Jazz-Fusion chart has a driving bass and laidback melody and was originally written for Jazz Ensemble. Though the tempo is fast, the lyrics speak to the essence of Ukiyo. After the development section, the bass line is taken by the vocalists in a Baroque imitation style. The outro mirrors the intro to close the piece.
